How does one top that last entry, but with some form of chocolate?  Here’s a dynamite Brownie recipe that has been in my family forever! I feel like Colonel Sanders giving away KFC’s 12 secret herbs and spices! While many bloggers may write about what they ate for a particular meal, I’ll post how to cook it. Follow me into Karen’s Kitchen @ Camp Cupcake and we’ll create something quite edible!

Mix together:

3/4 Cup  Hersey’s Unsweetened Cocoa & 3 Tbsp. Cooking Oil

2/3 Cup Cooking Oil

Beat in:

2 Cups Sugar

4 Eggs

Sift together & stir in:

1 1/2 Cups Flour

1 tsp. Baking powder

1 tsp. Salt

(Optional) Mix in:

1 Cup of chopped pecans or walnuts

Bake in 13 x 9 1/2" greased pan (I prefer using Pam)

Bake @ 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

*Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a glass of milk.

Dear Santa

Thank you for leaving the $100 on my pillow with the sweet note.  Santa, you don’t have to worry about me believing in miracles.  I witness them everyday!  Hey, is there any chance of me getting that great camping partner I put on my Christmas list or have you already sent him to me?  If not, you can continue to leave $100 bills on my pillow anytime you get the urge and if you had a hand in sending me that angelic beast, I want to thank you for that also. He’s put a smile on a very sad face.

 Love and kisses,

Red Kitten

Dear Santa,

The oil can is located in the garage.  The cookies & milk are in the dining room and I’m upstairs!

As always being naughty,

The Saucy Tart
